When IE7 installed, the browser would load, but would not connect to the internet at all!!! I decided to uninstall it. Bottom line: we removed IE8 from all three PCs and set up notification of new updates, not automatic install. Awesome Site!!!!!!!!!!! Kb946501
None of these options worked. Your old hardware can't run VISTA so upgrade. Do I still need Internet Explorer updates if I don't use it? Short cuts and links for ie became useless because they had no ie in system files to link to.
