I also have Google Chrome installed on my computer and it went down together with internet explorer. So saying you really needed to target everything BUT IE6 is bass ackwards and serves only to confuse the issue. Another solution to width/margin issues would be to use an IE specific stylesheet and change the widths (say from 100 to 120px in that example).
