then click on the driver u want for ur grahics card, then ur OS. View distance affected performance considerably when it was set to its maximum. I recommend you to check whats the problem, but it definitily isn't the gforce. Im running a high spec comp, more than enough for the game, but after about 7 seconds on the main page once the game has loaded, it just locks up. It all comes down to which parts of DirectX 9 is needed by the game. Seen as all the documention from Gainward suggests that I can only go up to DX8.1 I assumed that I couldn't install verion 9. Where to buy from would be almost anywhere: Circuit City, Best Buy, Wal-Mart...doesn't matter.

The only time the video card got to flex its muscle was during the neighborhood flyby. When running in DirectX 7 mode, the graphics will change slightly. As more and more games come out requiring DirectX 9, that does not mean that they actually use it. My version froze after a few seconds, these new drivers fixed that problem, so im sure they can help the choppy ness. I've tried going minimum system graphicaly, but nothing. The Ti4200, for example does not have hardware support for 2nd generation pixel shading or second generation T&L, but if the game doesn't use those features, it may be enough simply And her's works fine. but mine only freezes when some skill levels increase.
