My point is, just like everyone of us needs food to eat, everyone needs the internet for one reason or another. I don't know, I have never had a problem. but I have one more question if you have time, it's actually not even about this stuff we've been talking about. I am reluctant to mess with the registry so I just waited and kept trying.
I called my internet service provider again. https://books.google.com/books?id=dQIAAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA35&lpg=PA35&dq=Odd+problem+i'm+having+with+ad+aware/spy+bot&source=bl&ots=vdGLMqKrk7&sig=uxIjhb98B-TCo_nsDz5BmcoT1o4&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiMrMjPqtzRAhVLwYMKHUEzAK0Q6A It was 4 years ago. One guy from the site suggested I try Advanced Windows Care Person to clean up my registry. by deadgurlee / February 19, 2005 4:23 PM PST I've searched recently on what to do about the dr watsons postmortem debugger program having to end recently. Based on what I read at the Symantec site[Title: 'Error: "Norton AntiVirus 2005 has encountered an internal program error . . ." Spybot appears bloated since it (Teatimer, more specifically) does a scan at startup, causing startup to take a bit longer. Anyone having trouble getting the latest definitions can download them from here:http://www.lavasoftusa.com/download_and_buy/detection_database/Just extract the file to your Ad-Aware directory.(On my computer it is C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal) Flag Permalink This was I'm sort of an amatuer with computers.. Apparently, something got in that I was unaware of that blocked Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06r from updating.
This is rather odd indeed.Have had both these programs for perhaps 3 years now and never had any problem with either one.AdAware has an automatic update feature which can be set You "must" regularly update the virus definitions, at least once a week. You must then update and scan your computer with "each of the other" programs, ie Ad-aware, Spybot and SpywareBlaster. The odd thing is, I have had it update once with both things turned on! After signing up and paying for it, and downloading, the install starts automatically (no download file to save for backup either it appears).

Sorry for the quality. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site. But the solution would be to configure the spyware program not to recognize the Symantec files as spyware.
