If you have both still active then you need to clean that registry entry, and most likely you have more inactive registry keys that are cluttering things up. Check This Out

The only thing different was is the new case I transferred everything in to. Any other suggestions? The stuttering occurs often when the level of I/O throughput is the highest, but the stuttering is somewhat random based upon the highest I/O usage. More importantly what I noticed while doing so, was that the 2 pin little cord to the fan somehow got unplugged. (maybe while taking it our of the original case). I guess you werent overclocking or anything, as that can cause odd little problems?
but i'm having the same problems with my computer as before still... Is anything at all overclocked? It may also be worth removing some of these other programs which are running constantly in the background, at least as a troubleshooting procedure. In all usual cases, 32bit color only decreases performance so I've always stuck with 16bit.
