So thinking this is a permissions issue of some sort I placed him back into the Admins group....it is still broken. Yes, running auto updates will reinstall, so I've flagged KB908531 not to reinstall until be get a better fix. Not the answer you're looking for? Her computer has been freezing for 2 days when she tries to save as in Word and Excel. What I mean is the delay is half as long as it used to be, but I still have it. And if it doesn't help things then you can just as easily remove it.
