If it is in the Registry, what would I look for to try to uninstall it from there? getting Windows updates from anywhere othet than Micrfosoft is asking for problems . . not a stupid program imo, to each their own I guess. There is no such folder.

I was looking at 'services settings’ today and found this 'Office Source Engine' it was 'implemented starting with Microsoft Office 2003 to provide support for installing, updating and repairing Office.

What OS? What is this process, how does it know about office2003 and how do I remove it for good? There's nothing in the login script that would push an install is there? Then I kind of lost it.

If you have something to add that is fine also but it doesn't mean anyone knows more than anyone else...please.
